to Every Success
By MaryEllen Tribby
If there’s one thing I’ve learned over my years as a CEO, entrepreneur, writer, and mother, it’s this:
Consistency is everything.
It doesn’t matter what your dream is, whether it’s writing a book, running a marathon, deepening your relationships, or finding inner peace; the key isn’t talent, luck, or timing.
It’s showing up.
Over and over again.
Even when it’s inconvenient, uncomfortable, or uncertain.
And today, as we celebrate the 500th issue of Mind Power, I can tell you from the bottom of my heart - it’s consistency that got us here.
When we launched Mind Power, our goal was simple yet ambitious: to provide our Centerpointe community with a free, valuable resource every single Monday. Rain or shine. Holiday or not.
Something that would uplift, inspire, educate, and maybe even challenge you a little to help you live your best, most conscious life.
And here we are, 500 Mondays later, without missing one.
Not once.
That’s 500 weeks of sitting down to write, edit, design, and publish something with meaning.
Were there times we thought, “We don’t have time this week”?
Absolutely!
Were there moments when the to-do list was taller than Mount Everest?
Of course!
But our commitment to you - to help you live a happier, calmer, more centered life always came first.
And let me tell you, the feedback we’ve received over the years has made every single late night, every rewrite, every cup of coffee completely worth it.
Many of you have shared that Mind Power helped you through heartbreak, through job loss, through grief and those messages mean more to me than I can express.
Because that’s the power of consistency: when you stick with something meaningful, it not only transforms your own life, it ripples outward and changes others.
Consistency Creates Momentum
When people talk about success, they often focus on big breakthroughs. The bestseller, the promotion, the “aha” moment in meditation.
But success rarely arrives in one sweeping motion. It’s the quiet build-up of tiny, repeated actions.
Writing a book isn’t about writing a book, it’s about writing one page, then another, then another.
Improving your health isn’t about an occasional salad or workout. It's about showing up for your body every single day, in big ways and small.
Healing emotional wounds isn’t about one weekend retreat. It's about consistent inner work, moment by moment, thought by thought.
When you meditate daily, for example, something extraordinary happens.
Your nervous system starts to relax. Your stress levels begin to drop. Your mind becomes more spacious and less reactive.
And that’s why I always say: if you truly want to release hidden trauma, reduce stress, or connect with your higher self, you must make meditation part of your daily routine.
And of course, there’s no easier or more effective way than with Holosync.
Because Holosync does the heavy lifting for you, guiding your brain into deep meditative states automatically. You don’t have to force focus or silence your thoughts; you simply press “play” and let the technology do its work.
But the magic isn’t in listening once in a while.
The magic is in doing it consistently.
Just as brushing your teeth keeps your smile bright, daily meditation keeps your mind clear, your emotions steady, and your heart open.
Progress, Not Perfection
One of the biggest traps people fall into when they try to build consistency is perfectionism.
They start strong, miss a day or two, and then think, “Well, I already failed. Why bother?”
Sound familiar?
Here’s what I want you to know: Perfection isn’t the goal - progress is.
Success isn’t about never missing a day; it’s about not letting one missed day turn into a missed week, month, or year.
When you let go of the need to be perfect, you make space for real growth. You realize that it’s okay to stumble as long as you get back up.
That’s how you become consistent. Not by being flawless, but by being faithful.
5 Tips for Building Consistency in Your Life
Over the years through raising three kids, leading Centerpointe, writing hundreds of articles, launching products and managing a business - I’ve learned a few practical ways to build and maintain consistency.
Here are five that truly work:
1. Start Small and Simple
The biggest mistake people make is overcommitting. They set huge, unsustainable goals, like meditating for an hour a day right out of the gate or writing ten pages a night and then feel overwhelmed.
Start small.
If you want to meditate, begin with 10 minutes a day. (The MyHolosync App makes that easy!)
If you want to write, commit to 200 words.
If you want to exercise, start with a 15-minute walk.
Small wins create momentum and momentum creates consistency.
2. Anchor It to an Existing Habit
One of the easiest ways to stick with something is to tie it to something you already do.
Meditate after brushing your teeth.
Journal right after your morning coffee.
Go for a walk after lunch.
By linking new habits to old routines, you eliminate friction. The action becomes automatic and that’s how consistency takes root.
3. Create Accountability
Tell someone what you’re doing. Share your goal with a friend, spouse, or even on social media.
Accountability keeps you honest. When others know you’re committed to something, you’re far less likely to back out even when motivation dips.
And if you’re part of the Centerpointe community, remember: you already have built-in accountability. Thousands of like-minded people are walking this path with you. We’re all striving for calm minds, open hearts and consistent progress - together.
4. Forgive Yourself Quickly
You will miss days. You will slip up. The key is not to dwell on it.
Consistency isn’t about never failing, it’s about how quickly you recommit after you do.
If you miss your meditation today, meditate tomorrow.
If you snapped at your partner today, apologize and try again.
If you skipped writing, open your laptop tonight.
Forgiveness resets momentum faster than guilt ever will.
5. Keep Your “Why” Front and Center
When motivation fades - your “why” is what carries you through.
Why do you want to meditate daily?
Why do you want to nurture your relationships?
Why do you want to write that book?
Keep that vision alive in your mind. Write it down. Post it somewhere you can see every day.
At Centerpointe, our “why” has always been crystal clear: to help people live happier, healthier, more conscious lives.
And that’s what kept us publishing Mind Power week after week, even when it would’ve been easier to skip “just this one.”
The Power of Showing Up
Consistency doesn’t always feel glamorous. It’s often quiet and repetitive - like laying one brick after another. But brick by brick, that’s how you build something lasting. That’s how you build a life you love.
Mind Power itself is proof of that.
Five hundred issues.
Five hundred Mondays of commitment, creativity, and care.
And you, our readers, are part of that story. Because you’ve been consistent, too. You’ve shown up, opened these emails, reflected on the words, and taken action in your own lives.
That’s how transformation happens - one consistent step at a time.
So, as we celebrate this milestone together, I invite you to reflect on one area of your life that would blossom with just a little more consistency.
Maybe it’s daily meditation.
Maybe it’s reaching out to loved ones more often.
Maybe it’s finally starting that project that’s been whispering to your soul.
Whatever it is, start today.
Start small. And keep going.
Because the truth is, success doesn’t belong to the most talented or the luckiest. It belongs to the most consistent.
And when you commit to that - one step, one breath, one Holosync session at a time -your life begins to change in ways you never imagined.
Here’s to 500 issues of showing up together…
…and to the next 500.
