We were so excited to host our CoachingCast yesterday, “The Key to Clarity, Focus & Profound Awareness,” which is all about the exciting world of gamma brainwaves.
But fifteen minutes before we were scheduled to go live, guess what happened??
Zoom crashed!
And not just for us but apparently for everybody who uses that platform. Just imagine all the business meetings and other presentations that got interrupted or postponed!
And of course, we were also scrambling to find a solution, because this information is so valuable when it comes to improving your life!
And I just want to say that we’re really sorry for those of you who set aside the time to join us. This was truly frustrating for everyone!
You know, that’s how it goes sometimes, right? Our founder, Bill Harris, taught that there are really just three things in life:
- things you have complete control over
- things you can influence somewhat
- things that are totally out of your control
And Zoom crashing certainly falls into that latter category.
When things like that happen, you might “freak out” for a moment (that’s normal). But the sooner you take a deep breath and realize that you don’t have control over everything in life, the sooner you can turn your attention to responding to what you can control.
That’s what mindfulness is all about. That’s what “going with the flow” is all about.
That’s what life’s all about!
So I guess you could say that we all had a lesson yesterday about accepting what is happening, shifting out of resistance and into response mode, and making the best decisions we can in light of the circumstances.
And what we decided is to reschedule the Coaching Cast for tomorrow, Friday, April 18th at 10am Pacific.
I really hope you can join us then! Because what we’ll be sharing is some of the most exciting cutting-edge, life-changing neuroscience you’ll find anywhere on the incredible power of gamma brainwaves!
By the way, you can get your updated Zoom link to join us right here.
And really quickly before I go, I’d love to know…
Was there a time when you did everything right but you still didn’t get the result you wanted? What happened? And did you take anything away from that experience?
And that’s me, just checking in!
